On The Walls of Fort Warrick

From my WIP Fantasy comic 'Karnath' My character Reyna of the Karnathian ranger corps, This scene is set after rumours of the Cardamon invasion have started to spread south, Reyna, knowing that she'll soon be sent out to confirm them before defences in the twin forts of Warrick and Adolan will be mobilised and with a gut feeling that there is some serious weight to them, she has gone up to the battlements to contemplate the situation, as she does this she gazes about the men in the fort whom she knows may soon be dead.


This is what I've been working on the past few days, I stole the crap out of the pose, as is so often my way, and got to work trying to draw the fort... I am really new to this background stuff, and I'm not sure how happy I am with the results, but I had a good time giving me and my friends cameos as soldiers.

Also, this is the debut of my new signature 8D 'Chig' being the geek I am I really wanted to have a relatively obscure sci-fi reference so I chose the name of the alien antagonists from Space: Above and Beyond, I really miss that show....



Anyway, please tell me what you think, if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them, I can't improve if I can't see where I've went wrong..
